New Testament Greek Sequence

Learn New Testament Greek!

Many Christians, especially, Christian ministers, would love to be able to read the New Testament in its original language. The Bible is a central element in almost all the different forms of Christianity. So countless Christians recognize the potential value of knowing "Koine Greek," the spoken Greek of Paul's day.

On the Cafe Menu to the right, you will (eventually) find two semesters worth of instruction in Greek. There are two ways to approach the learning: Track 1 and Track 2. Both tracks eventually lead to the same destination, they just take different paths to get there.

TRACK 1 (Practical): Track one is a path for the practitioner. It focuses on what you need to know to get the meaning of Greek rather than have all the specific Greek forms memorized. It assumes a person who has access to the kinds of Greek tools to tell what the forms are. This track gets into the actual text of the New Testament the fastest! But if you stick with this track, you will eventually learn all the forms too--just later in the sequence.

TRACK 2 (Traditional): Track two is for the purist who wants to know everything. In this sequence you learn all the forms as you go along. This track is for the person who is detailed and wants to master each concept thoroughly before proceeding to the next. Accordingly, it will take longer to get into "real" New Testament texts.
